Sheepadoodle Breeder
We are Sheepadoodle breeders and professional trainers with over 30-years of professional experience. Our breeding and training program is owned and managed by Rich & Becky Poppe and our expanding family. Our home is nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Northern Utah.
Breeding Motivation.
We first became attracted to the Sheepadoodle breed after having been contracted to train several Sheepadoodles from another breeder back in 2012. Because we already owned and bred Old English Sheepdogs ( and because we also train ADA-certified service dogs specializing in PTSD and therapy work, we quickly recognized the benefits of this breed. Above all else, the benefits include their superior intuitive nature. They have this amazing ability to quickly sense emotions and moods in people. This is something that can not be taught to a dog but must come naturally. They must be born with this gift. For this reason, we now give the Sheepadoodle breed our highest rating for PTSD and therapy work specifically. Second to that is the Bordoodle who really excels primarily as a mobility assistance service dog. Yes, we love bordoodles too!
Special Sheepadoodle Bloodlines.
As a serious Sheepadoodle breeder and professional trainer, we're so very proud to raise some of the most elite Sheepadoodles found anywhere. We are one of the few Sheepadoodle breeders in the United States to have previously bred and raised the most elite purebred Old English Sheepdogs from exclusive European bloodlines. As such, you will notice that our Old English Sheepdog parents are exceptionally gorgeous (a little shorter muzzle and slightly wider set eyes) and have full tails (not docked or bobbed). Our Dogs Live "the Good Life".
Our dogs live the good life! They accompany us on our various activities around our properties throughout the day. They love being around our other animals, including our horses, cows, and chickens. Our dogs love to go with us on rides in the truck, horseback excursions, snowmobiling, biking, and hiking in the mountains.
